About ORAI
Our Story
ORAI (Open Robotics and AI) was founded in 2020 with a simple yet powerful idea: technology education should be a right, not a privilege. Our founders, a diverse group of technologists, educators, and community leaders, saw a growing gap between the rapid advancements in AI and robotics and the access to this knowledge in underserved communities.
We started with a small weekend workshop in a local community center. The overwhelming response and the visible spark of curiosity in the participants' eyes confirmed our mission's importance. Since then, we have grown into a multi-faceted organization, but our core commitment remains the same: to demystify AI and robotics and empower individuals to become creators, not just consumers, of technology.
Our Mission
To raise awareness and educate marginal communities on Robotics and AI, fostering a new generation of diverse thinkers and leaders in technology. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating inclusive pathways to innovation.
