MAKE A DIFFERENCE: AI Foundation Camp at Houston's historic Emancipation Park

“Everyone counts, and everyone has a fair shot” has been the motto of ORAI. Our immersive AI Foundation camp for youth at the historic Emancipation Park Cultural Center in Houston delivered exactly that.

We were thrilled to welcome a group of passionate young minds from the Houston community to explore the frontiers of artificial intelligence. The workshop wasn't just about code and circuits; it was about empowerment and building confidence in a rapidly changing world.

Throughout the session, students engaged in hands-on activities that demystified how AI works. From understanding neural networks to discussing the ethical implications of these technologies, the curiosity in the room was palpable. Seeing the students collaborate and solve complex problems was the highlight of our week.

Emancipation Park, with its rich history of freedom and community, provided the perfect backdrop for a camp dedicated to breaking down barriers in tech education. We saw students who had never touched a line of code suddenly building their first AI agents, proving that with the right environment and tools, potential is limitless.
